The Universalist Teachings of the Early Church and the Prophecy of the Coming Virgin of Light

“I believe that the goal of the mission of these Saviors is to prepare us for the advent of the Paraclete which is the Holy Spirit and which manifests itself to us as the Virgin of the Light. I believe that all beings will finally enter into the bosom of the Pleroma, where Harmony, Justice and Grace reign in all the Aeons.” From the Gnosic Credo 1913, By Marie Chauvel de Chauvignie (Sophia Escarlamonde Bishop of Warsaw)

Yes God is Love and it is by Love that we are particularly joined to him. Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin said if Love extinguished itself there would no longer be God. He is Love, in other words, that Virgin of Light which shines in the spirituality of all beings, sublime Prostitute, according to Denys the Areopagite which unites itself with all souls, the august manifestation of the Eternal.

In order for this mystic union to accomplish itself we say that the human being must de-individualise itself and liberate itself from narrow sensualism and exalt itself in an altruism without reservation similar to the universal…

If God is Love and if sin is in part a relativity -what is evident then, because it is a type of evil, is that hell is not only impossible but it is also an offense to the Divinity to believe in its existence. The idea of punishment itself in regards to divine action is an old Pagan-Jewish error from which we must at all costs free ourselves. God does not chasten, God does not punish. He lets man free to live his life, to accomplish his destiny, knowing definitively that we will all, in the end, finish by being saved, that is reintegrate into the Pleroma, the plenitude of life, eternally pure, happy and conscious (mindful).

Tau Synésisus (Fabre des Essarts) :

From : Manuel Préparatoire, Paris, 1913.

Deodat Roche: “This salvation is Universal because, for Fabre des Essarts, Satan is forgiven by the tree (wood) of the Cross:”

Ed. : The following is taken from a Drama penned by Fabre des Essarts and published in 1907:

Jesus: “…Evil is death. Good survives. Hell is no longer, all have been called, and all in the end are the elect. Conqueror of the dark night and of the supreme death, I bring all things to me because everything Loves me now.”

(Psalm-Jesus looks around him as though looking for someone.)

Jesus: “But a lamb is missing from the flock.”

Mary Magdalene appears bringing Satan with her by the hand. In his left hand Satan is pressing a fragment of a piece of worm-eaten wood against his heart.)

Mary: “Here it is! (Referring to the Lamb), Satan who has been forgiven and whose place is here in your Domain, O Divine Rabbi, it is I who bring him: for twelve thousand years have I prayed for him.

I cried so much to him: Repent so that at the final dawn you may not continue to be exiled in the dark confines away from the Pleroma. On him I spread the balm of pure love, like I did before with nard on your feet. O Jesus! No, my vast hopes have not been in vain (disappointed) since Satan is reborn young and beautiful in the Light.”

Satan: “What! I will find my original (first) innocence again; my awful torments (pains) will cease!”

Jesus: “But what is that dead wood all wet with your tears?”

Satan: “O Jesus, it is the debris from your cross, which I embrace.”

Fabre des Essarts: Le Christ sauveaur, drame gnostique en trois journées : 3e journée : la vengeance de Dieu, pg. 43-44. Paris, 1907.

The work of the Father has been completed, that of the Son as well. Remaining is that of the Spirit which alone can determine the definitive salvation of terrestrial Humanity and prepare the Reconstitution of the Adam-Kadmon.

The Spirit, or the Paraclete, as the Cathars named it, corresponds to that which is feminine in the Divinity and our Teachings specify that it is the only face of God which is truly accessible to our reason. The Hebrew language identifies the Spirit as Ruach, which is of a feminine gender. On this I call upon the linguistic expertise of our dear President (i.e., Papus).

What exactly will be the nature of this new and next messiah? Will it be a woman from the elite with the specific mission of working this salvation? Or will it be a group of divine women?

I couldn’t say, but what I do know, and affirm strongly, is that it is by the eternal feminine that the world will be saved.

(From the address given by Fabre Essarts at the Congrès Spiritualiste, juin 1908 and whose President at the time was Papus.)
