The Faidit Knights of the Dove of the Paraclete
Les Chevaliers Faydits de la Colombe du Paraclet (The Knights Faidit of the Dove of the Paraclete), also known as the Chevaliers du Paraclet, is a mystical order of chivalry founded on July 10, 1894 by Jules Doinel, first Patriarch of the restored Gnostic Ecclesia.
The Chevaliers du Paraclet Order was founded in honor of the Holy Martyred Knights, the Perfecti, and the Deaconesses of Albigeois Gnosticism in the twelfth century, who were immolated on the battlefields of the South or condemned by the Inquisition. The aim of the Order is to reward all who have rendered honorable service to the Gnostic Church, and to gather around Gnosis an army of honor, composed of worldly and intelligent men and women. Membership in this Order is Honorary and by invitation of the Primate or the Gnostic College of Metropolitans. |
