Gospel Reading

You know that the princes of the nations tyrannise them and the great ones enslave them. Let it not be so with you, but let him who would be greatest among you be your servant, and let him who would be first among you be your slave. Imitate the Son of Man who came not to be served but to serve; do not let anyone call you Master, for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. Do not call anyone on earth Father, for you have one Father in heaven. Nor let anyone call you King, for you have only one King, Christ.
