Maundate Solemne
Solemn Mandate of the Communion of Apostolic Gnostic Ecclesias of North America
The Ecclesia Gnostica Apostolica, variously known as l'Église du Paraclète in origin as l'Église Gnostique, as l'Église Gnostique Catholique de France, as l'Église Gnostique Universelle, and l'Église Gnostique Catholique Apostolique and Her [Concordats] Allied Churches Ecclesia Gnostica, Ecclesia Antiqua Templi, and The Church Of The Glorious Christ, exist as a Beacon to the Sparks of Light (sperema) dispersed upon the dark primordial waters of the Kenoma.
I° The Ecclesia was established initially in France, by four joint assemblies of Gnostic remnant [1] as a sanctuary of refuge for those Initiates of the Ancient Wisdom Tradition desiring the sacraments of the Light of Christ Sother Logos denied them by the Latin and other Churches. Therefore the Ecclesia and its Concordats confer these sacraments competently in full Oriental and Occidental liturgical forms to all.
II° The Ecclesia and Her [Concordats] Allied Churches consistently and continuously maintain a sacramental ministry in the direct tradition of the Apostles, especially St. John and St. Mark also known as John-Mark, conservatuer of the apostolic initiatic tradition (2), as well as all the ancient Gnostic teachers although particularly affinitized to the Albigeois Church.
III° The Ecclesia and Her [Concordats] Allied Churches guard their Apostolic Sanctuaries closely, and their Ministries are strictly overseen by the Episcopate and Hierophanie, Perfecti who unveil to us the WAY TO PERFECTION and are called Tau's and Sophia’s, i.e. the masculine and feminine lines of Bishops, with Apostolic Sees in many nations around the globe.
IV° These Perfecti collectively oversee their sanctuaries with aid of the Sacred Atheneum of Metropolitans also known as the College of the Metropolitans of the Gnosis Apostolic Ecclesia’s that is equal to the Patriarchate in the vacancy of that Office.
V° The Ecclesia and Her [Concordats] Allied Churches and Institutions in this new Millennium, being graced by the Pneuma Hagion with the recovery of the Holy Gnostic Scriptures (i.e. the Nag Hamadi library as well as others) recognizes Her obligation and so mandates its clergy at all degrees to preserve, teach and manifest the ancient writings to all in humanity who have an ear to hear and a heart to understand.
To the complete and faithful observance of the mandate, the Ecclesia and Her Holy [Concordats] Allied Churches are committed that we may inevitably return the ships of Light to the Eternally Bright and Joyous shores of the Pleroma and thus restoring the Treasury of Light at the Consummations of the Aeons. Amen, A.M.D.G., So Mote It Be!
